Laboratoire de Photonique et de Nanostructures
CNRS, Marcoussis, France |
The Laboratoire de Photonique et de Nanostructures (www.lpn.cnrs.fr) is a CNRS research laboratory created in 2001 to incorporate world-leading researchers that have made internationally acclaimed discoveries, e.g. InAs/GaAs QDs in 1985. Today LPN’s research activities are very broad and include both fundamental and applied research.
LPN specialises in the growth, structural and optical characterisation, advanced processing and assessment of semiconductor-based devices. The Laboratory hosts a 1000 m2 clean- room, with state-of-the-art equipment for processing (e-beam and UV lithography, RIE, focused ion beam, metal and dielectric deposition).
